Charlotte Luck wins national Practice Manager of the Year!
We are incredibly proud to share that our Practice Manager – Charlotte Luck – has been awarded joint Practice Manager of the Year in this year’s national General Practice Awards.
The General Practice Awards – held each year – shines a light on the remarkable work carried out across the country in primary care every day.
She didn’t know that we had secretly nominated her early last year, after all that she has done for the Meads and our team – and we are delighted that the national panel agreed with us that Charlotte really is exceptional.
Charlotte has been with the Meads for almost three years but in that time we have made major improvements to the way we work, the way we support our patients and the care we can provide.
We have recruited a new full time partner and a salaried GP in that time, we have introduced new systems to make the way we work easier and hopefully more helpful for you, and most importantly Charlotte has built up a really happy place to work and one where all of our team want to come to work each day.
On hearing the news Charlotte was really shocked but said that it was a whole team effort:
“I am really delighted to receive this award – it is completely unexpected but an absolute honour. For me being a Practice Manager is about being part of an amazing team which works together to deliver fantastic patient care. We have that at the Meads and I am proud of the whole team; they give their all every single day.”
Dr Duckworth speaking on behalf of the partners at the Meads said “We are overjoyed that Charlotte’s achievements have been recognised by this national award. We have never worked with anyone so creative, positive and dynamic. She has built an amazing team here and we are proud to be working alongside her.”
We hope you can join us to congratulate Charlotte on behalf of the whole team at the Meads – well done Charlotte!
